ProTerra 3.8cf

ProTerra is Hydrotek Hydroponics’ exclusive high-drainage growing medium, blended for hydroponic growing from Canadian sphagnum peat moss, peat chunks and coarse perlite. Hydrotek position it for flowering plants, cuttings and large container plants — crops that need higher air capacity and drainage. The coarse perlite speeds drainage and keeps the medium loose and free flowing rather than compacting, while the peat holds moisture and retains nutrients that would otherwise leach out. The mix is pH balanced with dolomitic and calcitic limestone and carries a wetting agent to improve nutrient delivery. It includes a balanced charge of macro and micro nutrients — enough, Hydrotek say, to boost seedlings and cuttings without influencing mature plants. It is also naturally resistant to algae. Produced in Canada, with each batch tested physically and chemically for consistency. Supplied in a 3.8 cu ft bag.
